A division of the Lilliput Lane Limited Group of Companies they manufactured a range of fantasy figurines. Bill Dodd, Chief Executive of the company decided to branch out on his own and in August 1990 'Land of Legend' was launched. Exciting and innovative ideas followed and the company shifted its focus to the worldwide collectibles market. In recognition of their new vision they changed their name to Collectible World Studios Limited. Sculptures by Collectible World Studios are sought after worldwide with loyal collectors spanning all four corners of the globe. Pocket Dragons, Piggin' and Just the Right Shoe are such highly successful ranges that each warrants it's own collectors club with over 50,000 members worldwide. Members enjoy collectors' magazines, books and club events where they can purchase current and retired sculptures and meet their favourite artist. The Piggins Collection Piggin' is the creation of wildlife and animal enthusiast and artist David Corbridge. He has had a lifelong interest in animals and spends much of his time sketching them all over the world. While living on a farm in the deepest wilds of North Yorkshire, he was inspired by the carryings on of one of the farm's pigs, and Piggin' was born. David has now sculpted over 200 Piggin' pieces, as well as the ranges of Piggin' Celebrations, & the new Piggin' Professionals which were launched in April 2002. The WhimsiClay Collection These hand-painted ceramic creations, each with its own colourful personality, have already proved highly popular in the United States.
